This is an original 1987 USA Fender '62 Vintage Reissue Strat in exceptionally fine condition. The neck date is penciled 3-30-87 as seen in the close-ups. The wiring harness has unbroken solder joints and the pot codes read 1378650, which translates to CTS manufactured the 50th week of '86,as seen in the next to last picture. The beautiful candy apple red finish shows almost no playing wear, perhaps a few fingerprints from my handling the guitar to take the pictures. Sorry for the light reflections, but I am not a professional photographer.

The guitar has its original paperwork, 3-way toggle switch (the factory supplied 5-way selector is currently installed), and tremolo arm in the case pocket as seen in the close-ups. This fine Fender guitar plays great and sounds fabulous, and weighs 7 pounds, 15.5 ounces. It comes in its original tweed-covered hardshell case, as seen in the last picture..
