Here we have an absolutely beautiful 2000 Gibson R8 58 Reissue Blacktop with Natural backs and sides. This was a limited run of 75 units.
It has been gigged and played and shows some signs of wear. There are a few small nicks but nothing major at all. No breaks or cracks. The neck is straight and action is set. Also very little fret wear.
It also has had a few tasteful modifications. The nut has been swapped with a bone nut. The bridge was swapped with a tone pros bridge. Pickups were swapped with a set of Bare Knuckles, Black Dog in the neck and Holy Diver in the bridge. Graphite Saddles were added. It also looks like some of the pots were swapped as well.
This is a players R8 but man does it play. The tone and sustain is unreal on this guitar. You will absolutely not be disappointed!
