1980 Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe – Ebony – Original Brown Gibson Hard Case

Offered for sale is a beautifully preserved 1980 Gibson Les Paul Pro Deluxe in its original Ebony finish, complete with its original brown Gibson hard case.

This guitar was purchased by my late father as an investment piece from the musical instrument department of a prestigious London department store. It was never bought to be played and has remained carefully stored in its case for decades. It has stayed in our family's ownership ever since.

The serial number is 80560530, which dates the guitar to 1980. A previous professional inspection confirmed its period and recorded CTS potentiometers dating from 1979. A clear photograph of the serial number will be added as soon as it becomes available.

The guitar presents exceptionally well for a vintage instrument of this age, retaining a beautiful deep Ebony gloss and showing remarkably little evidence of use. It has not recently been played or professionally set up, as it has been stored for many years, so the buyer may wish to have it inspected and set up to their own preference.
