RARE Vintage 1940's upgraded Dynamic Microphone. The maker of this mic is unknown, but based on the design and build, it appears to be of post WW2 era. The original pickup element was no longer functional, so it was removed and upgraded to a new modern dynamic capsule, compatible with any modern amplifier or mixer, no external power required. The output is strong and clear. (You can check out a voice sample recorded on this mic in the listing video.)
The mic casing is either tin, and has been repainted a gloss black with clearcoat. The stem is solid aluminum as is the decorative 3 tier "waterfall" style desk stand.
