This Mandola was given to me a long time ago - need to trade it in for some different gear

Vintage Gibson H-1 Mandola made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, during the early 1920s. The original interior label identifies the instrument as Style H-1.

This mandola features Gibson's carved spruce top, carved maple back, traditional teardrop body, and original sunburst finish. The "The Gibson" script logo on the headstock and early Gibson warranty label are consistent with instruments produced during the early 1920s.

  • Original finish shows age-related wear.
  • Cosmetic scratches and checking consistent with approximately 100 years of age.
  • Missing/broken strings.

I have the original hard case that comes with it along with the tuning vintage Wm. Kratt Co. Super Pitch Pipe, model SN-3, designed for tuning violins and mandolins.
