This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster Foto Flame 62 Reissue ST62-AS in a rare natural finish and weighs 7.8 lbs.This guitar has an Alder Body with the “Foto Flame” film applied to a Basswood cap. The Foto Flame film is applied to the neck and head stock with a ‘Foto Flame’ label applied to the back of the head stock.
There are cracks in the finish of Basswood top and 3 areas with dents: The tip of the lower horn, between the bridge and jack plate and below the bridge bass side, as shown in the pictures. The Foto Flame film is not disturbed and shows no signs of lifting or peeling.
The guitar has been set up and plays great with no string buzz. The Rosewood fret board and frets show no signs of wear. A new pickguard has been installed with all new CTS pots, 5-way switch and Switchcraft input jack. Pickups are Fender Japan ‘vintage style’ single coils with staggered pole pieces.The bridge is set up flat on the body (non- floating) and does not include a Trem Bar. Gig Bag included as shown in pictures.
