This receiver has been rebuilt. All electrolytic capacitors, most of the transistors, diodes, and resistors have been replaced with top quality components. Dial cord replaced, incandescents replaced with LEDs. New filter caps and output transistors. Basically, any electronic components tested out of tolerance have been replaced. Power supply, DC offset and bias voltages have all been measured and adjusted.
How does it sound? It has been in my rotation a lot longer than others simply because it sounds so awesome. Clear, clean highs, mids that don't compromise and a strong bass that doesn't overpower. It also has plenty of power for your speakers. Originally advertised at 45 Watts per channel, now measures at 52WPC.
