Up for sale is a stunning, highly versatile 1998 Fender USA Lone Star Stratocaster in the beautifully classic Sienna Sunburst finish. Part of Fender's highly acclaimed "Hot Rodded American" series, the Lone Star is an absolute tone monster designed to deliver big, Texas-sized sound from a single instrument.
What makes the Sienna Sunburst version incredibly unique is the tonewood selection. While other Lone Star colors from this era used alder, Fender reserved premium solid Ash specifically for the Sienna Sunburst model to highlight its gorgeous, sweeping grain pattern underneath the finish. Per the period-accurate specifications, this Ash body is paired with a highly resonant, fast-playing one-piece Maple neck and fingerboard.
This guitar has been tastefully upgraded with a set of genuine Fender locking tuners for lightning-fast string changes and rock-solid tuning stability. Aside from the tuner upgrade, this classic HSS Stratocaster is entirely original, has been incredibly well-preserved, and is in Excellent Condition considering its age.

Condition Report
Body & Finish: Excellent shape for a guitar going on three decades old. The gloss Sienna Sunburst finish retains its mirror-like shine. It shows only minor, honest play wear including very light surface scratches, faint picking marks, and a few small, superficial dings as highlighted in the photos.
Neck & Frets: The maple neck is straight, and the Bi-Flex truss rod turns perfectly. The frets show only minor, normal wear with plenty of life left to play cleanly and bend easily without fret buzz.
