    Comments:     The Roadhouse Stratocaster was introduced in 1997 as part of Fender's Hot Rodded American Standard Series. The defining feature of the model was its factory-fitted trio of Texas Special single-coil pickups, giving it a stronger output and more midrange character than a standard American Standard Stratocaster while preserving traditional Strat versatility.
