PRS SE Paul Allender Signature 2011 - Scarlet Red Burst (Active EMGs / Korea)
Description:Up for sale is a 2011 PRS SE Paul Allender Signature in the striking Scarlet Red Burst finish. This model was built at the highly regarded World Musical Instruments factory in South Korea (Serial Number Prefix: L). It represents the highly desirable "Version 2" era, which upgraded the original signature line with premium active electronics.
Condition:The guitar is in Good/Very Good condition and has been well cared for. The Scarlet Red flamed maple veneer looks fantastic under light.
Cosmetics: Only minor, normal signs of playwear. No major gashes, deep chips, or structural damage. The tarnishing and pickup surround casing has gradual decay which is known with this product.
Neck & Frets: The neck is straight, and the jumbo frets show plenty of life left with no dead spots. The custom "Bats in Flight" fretboard inlays are perfectly intact.
Electronics: Fully tested and 100% functional. Pickup selector tip is missing. Emg Pickup has wear and tear on the pickup holders.
Tonal Versatility:Unlike standard SE models, this guitar comes equipped from the factory with active EMG 81TW (bridge) and EMG 89 (neck) pickups. They deliver a crushing, high-gain punch perfect for rock and metal. Both the volume and tone knobs are push/pull pots. Pulling them up splits the active humbuckers into single-coils, allowing you to access surprisingly lush, warm, Strat-like clean tones.
Key Specs:
Body: Solid Mahogany with a carved Flame Maple veneer top
Neck: Fast Maple neck, Wide-Thin profile, 25" scale length
Fretboard: Rosewood with custom Paul Allender Bat Inlays
Frets: 24 Jumbo frets
Pickups: Active EMG 81TW & EMG 89 with dual coil-splitting
Hardware: All-original chrome hardware.
