The Joker is built around the idea of adding controlled distortion to a clean booster, using an FET‑based 12AX7 simulation to deliver everything from warm boost to tweed‑style breakup in Dirt mode and heavier rock‑ready gain in Filth mode. It can act as a small‑amp emulator, a full‑tilt distortion source, or a harmonic‑rich boost that pushes a conventional amp harder, with Volume, Gain, Tone, and a Dirt/Filth toggle giving you a wide range of tones from jazz warmth to aggressive rock saturation.
Its stage‑ready design includes a green halo light ring and a custom‑etched aluminium foot topper for easy visibility and switching on dark stages. The Platinum Range finish is fully hand‑processed with etch‑priming, multiple base coats, green burst coloration, holographic chrome flake, UV‑printed graphics, and a wet‑sand lacquer process polished to a deep high‑gloss shine, giving The Joker the boutique character and visual impact Flattley pedals are known for.
