Here for sale we have a PRS Singlecut Hollowbody Standard Piezo Electric Guitar in Vintage Cherry finish. Made in the USA in 2008, this guitar consists of an arched Mahogany top, a Mahogany body, a Mahogany neck, and a 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include PRS Locking Tuners, a Piezo wraparound bridge, a set of PRS Archtop Treble/Bass Humbuckers, and a set of LR Baggs Piezo Saddles. These pickups are wired to master volume, tone, blend control/piezo volume, system selector mini toggle, and a three-way pickup selector. 

The Mahogany neck sits comfortably in the hand, with the ‘Wide Fat’ profile and Gloss finish to the rear allowing for fluid movement and ergonomic thumb placement up and down the neck. The Rosewood fingerboard is pleasant under the fingers and with its 10" radius offers a nice balance between vintage feel and practicality for string bending. The Medium Jumbo frets provide a rock-solid playing experience whilst also enhancing string bending and vibrato techniques. The single cutaway body design provides unobstructed access to the higher frets whilst the generous body carves provide comfort in both seating and standing positions.

The pair of PRS Archtop Treble/Bass humbucking pickups sound thick and raw, with a solid output that pushes the front end of an amp nicely. The PRS Archtop Bass in the neck is full sounding and warm, whilst the midrange is perfectly balanced and easily cuts through any mix. The PRS Archtop Treble in the bridge produces a biting tone which easily cuts through the mix for those rock rhythm sounds and has a great harmonic register for defining solos. The set of PRS Archtop Treble/Bass humbuckers, along with a piezo bridge, offering the best of both worlds when it comes to hollow body tone, allowing you to either isolate the humbuckers through one output, mix both pickup sets through the other output, or even send the signals to separate amplifiers.

Aesthetic Condition:

Headstock: Overall excellent condition. Light scratching is visible to all faces of the headstock, as is common on a high gloss finish.

Neck: Overall excellent condition.  Very fine scratches can be seen to the rear of the neck, specifically behind the 1st and 12th frets.

Body: Overall very good condition. Fine scratching is visible to all surfaces of the body, as is common with high gloss finishes

Condition of Frets:

The frets demonstrate moderate fret wear and a mild flattening of the crown, not affecting playability. There is substantial material remaining for any future fret work the new owner wished to perform.

Current Set Up:

Truss Rod: Fully functional. Truss Rod Tool (5/16") not included.

Hardware: All hardware is fully functional. The pickup covers and bridge demonstrate moderate signs of wear.

Structural: No structural concerns to note.

Original PRS Hard Case

The case is in aesthetically good condition with signs of wear to the outer tolex. There is a musty odour from the case which is not evident on the guitar itself. 

Please be aware that for international buyers import fees are not included in our postage and packaging cost, this only covers the cost of the guitar being sent to you. Import fees will be charged by Customs upon the guitar's arrival in the recipient country. Due to Brexit, this also applies to EU buyers.
