This faithful recreation transports you back to the golden era of Fender, channeling all the vibe and magic of a hard-gigging '50s Tele. From its relic'd ash body and hand-wound pickups to the slew of premium appointments, every detail has been obsessively rendered to give you the look, feel and tone of a vintage workhorse.

Relic'd for Quintessential Vintage Mojo

The moment you lay eyes on the Journeyman Relic Tele, you're transported back to the hallowed backrooms of '50s studios and honky-tonk stages. The 2-piece ash body has been relic'd to impart the look of a road-worn classic, complete with a nitro lacquer finish that'll continue to age gracefully. The quartersawn maple neck sports a comfortable '58 profile and has been purposely reliced for that unmistakable vintage feel. Even the 1-piece maple fingerboard is worn in, with narrow tall frets that make string bends expressive and effortless.

Handcrafted for Authentic '58 Tele Tone

As much as the Journeyman Relic evokes vintage Tele mojo in its looks, the tone is what truly makes it a time machine. At the heart are a pair of hand-wound '58 single-coil Tele pickups that meticulously reproduce the legendary bite and twang of the originals. The bridge pickup delivers all the crisp, cutting tones you crave, while the neck pickup serves up gooey smoothness. Balance them with the master tone and volume controls for authentic vintage voicings that simply can't be replicated.

Premium Touches for Discerning Players

In keeping with the Journeyman Relic's obsessive vintage spec, Fender's master builders have included a host of premium appointments that discerning players demand. The 3-saddle vintage-style Tele bridge features threaded steel saddles for precise intonation and sustain. A bone nut and vintage-style tuners ensure tuning stability. Rounding out the classic look is a 1-ply parchment pickguard. Even the hardware has been given a relic'd nickel/chrome finish. From front to back, every" of this Tele was designed to be a museum-quality piece.

Deluxe Extras Fit for a Masterpiece

As a final touch befitting a guitar of this pedigree, the Fender Custom Shop includes a deluxe hardshell case to protect your investment, along with a strap and certificate of authenticity. With the '58 Telecaster Journeyman Relic, you're getting a true masterpiece that embodies everything that made the Telecaster an icon—from its vintage-accurate construction down to its tiniest aging details. For the discerning player who demands nothing less than the real deal, this is the Tele you've been waiting for.
