A set of Texas Special pickups provide the Fender American Special Stratocaster with distinguishing tonal characteristics. The Texas Special single-coil neck pickup delivers rich, fat and meaty tone while the Texas Special bridge pickup delivers familiar bite with added midrange punch. The Reverse Wound / Reverse Polarity middle pickup sounds great by itself or in conjunction with the other two pickups for hum canceling, Strat sparkle.
