1964 Gibson ES-345TD with CITES, pricelist and original case.

This is an incredible-sounding 1964 Gibson ES-345TD in a beautiful 2-Tone Sunburst finish. This guitar has been wonderfully preserved and is in excellent vintage condition. Honestly, this is easily one of the absolute best ES-models I have ever had the pleasure of having at the shop.

Pickups & Electronics The heart of this guitar is a pair of Pat. No Label T Top Humbuckers which sound absolutely magical. They are beautifully balanced with excellent clarity and bite:

  • Neck Output: 7.45 kOhm
  • Bridge Output: 7.15 kOhm

The guitar features gold hardware, original 1964 potentiometers (pots), and a vintage ABR bridge fitted with newer saddles for optimal intonation.

The Varitone rotary switch is fully functional. Crucially, the output jack has been jumpered/wired to Mono, making it vastly more practical for modern everyday use with standard guitar cables and amps.

Neck & Fretboard It features a gorgeous Rio (Brazilian) Rosewood fingerboard, shared with its famous sister model, the ES-335, but elegantly elevated by Gibson’s iconic split-parallelogram inlays. After the legendary '58/'59 neck profiles, the 1964 neck carve is the most highly sought-after shape Gibson ever produced (famously preferred on Eric Clapton’s original 1964 ES-335). It feels absolutely incredible in the hand.

Specs & Included Accessories:

  • Serial Number: 154136
  • Year of Manufacture: 1964
  • Weight: 3.95 kg

The original "Stereo" truss rod cover is included. The guitar comes safely packed in its original black Gibson hardshell case with yellow plush lining. Also included is some cool vintage case candy (strap, strings, and an original '64 price list).

Don't miss the chance to own a stellar, investment-grade golden-era golden-boy from Gibson's finest years! The weight is 3,95kg.
