Features and Performance
The Martin 000-12E Retro stands out for its remarkable tonal balance and sophisticated vintage look. Its solid Sitka spruce top, paired with figured Koa fine veneer back and sides, offers a dynamic acoustic response characterized by clear highs, a well-defined mid-range, and excellent note-to-note separation.
The 000 body size features a short scale length, which provides slightly reduced string tension. This makes the instrument exceptionally comfortable to play, making it an ideal choice for fingerstyle, folk, and expressive playing styles.
