Vintage RARE 1960's Silvertone by Kay Model 57-660 Super Auditorium Archtop Acoustic Guitaew Strings Pro Setup Hard Shell Case

Today, Lawman Guitars is Presenting...

A beautiful Super RARE 1960's Silvertone by Kay Model 57-660 Archtop Super Auditorium Guitar ..It sounds fantastic...

This guitar is all original to include the cool original Pickguard, nut, Tailpiece and Tuners. The guitar has the model 57-660 stamped inside the sound hole. Silvertone sold these guitars thru the Sears Catalogs from the early 1960's thru 1969.

This guitar looks great but like all of these, it played terrible. We did a NY neck reset on it that now has this cool guitar playing great. See pic 11 for where the bolt now holds the neck aligned... Nice action and even some room on the adjustable bridge to raise of lower the action to your preference. The Brass frets are still in great shape. VSome dings and some finish missing around the neck . See pics 6 and 11.

This guitar is a blast to play ...What a looker!! .....it sounds great and its all original..... You don't see these Airline Guitars everyday and they aren't making any more...My tech has become an expert fixing and setting these old timers up ..

The guitar has a 25 3/4 inch scale neck and the nut measures 1 5/8 inches. The neck profile is a hefty C. Nice feel to it. Not shallow but also not chunky! The Super Auditorium size is 15 1/2 inches at the lower bout. Nice arch to the top and even the back is arched for sound projection. Really pretty Sunburst on the body. Laminated woods but it looks great!

Shown is the guitars non-original Hard Shell Case. Its as nice as the guitar. All latches, hinges, original handle and even the accessory box are still here and working great.

Beautiful but its vintage and used so it's sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
