This is an essentially new VoiceWorks harmony engine that includes vocal correction and effects (I never racked it or used it). TC Helicon has been the best at this for a long time, and in my view these first gen VoiceWorks units are still great gear both live and in the studio. It’s a dedicated 1U rackmount vocal processor featuring a 4-part harmony generator, auto-pitch correction, and TC Electronic effects like reverb, delay, EQ, and compression. It creates up to four harmony voices using four distinct modes (Scale, Chord, Shift, and MIDI Notes). The "humanization" settings include flex-time, pitch randomization, and vibrato. It includes scale-based chromatic pitch correction that is completely adjustable to naturally nudge your live or studio vocals into tune. It is equipped with a built-in microphone preamp with 48V phantom power, a 3-band EQ, compression/gate, tap-tempo delay, and high-end helicon reverbs. And it can also be controlled via MIDI for sequencing harmony notes from keyboards and is footswitch compatible for live performance toggling.
