Fender Vintera III Late ‘50s Stratocaster in Aztec Gold
This guitar has been upgraded with a set of Fender Custom Shop Fat ‘50s pickups. The original stock pickups are also included and will ship in the Fat ‘50s box. The guitar will ship in a Fender hard case, a considerable upgrade over the stock gig bag.
This is an awesome guitar. I love the Aztec Gold finish, it’s really striking and sure to look great on stage, in rehearsal, or wherever you play. The D shaped neck is very comfortable, and was one of my main motivations to buy the guitar. The stock pickups sounded fine, but I had a set of Fat 50s installed to give the tone something extra special, and now it sounds and plays like a dream.
The guitar has only been occasionally played at home, meaning it’s in fantastic condition. It’s a great instrument that isn’t getting enough play time, so I thought it would be a good idea to let it move on to someone else who might put it to more use than I have. Still, selling is a tough call, so buy it quick before I change my mind. Priced with added value of upgraded pickups and hard case in mind, but please feel free to make offers.
