Hammond 290BBX (Power Transformer)

  • Design Purpose: Serves as a power supply upgrade or replacement intended to match original vintage specifications. 
  • Voltage Rating: Features primary inputs for standard 120V with secondary outputs of 710V center-tapped @ 115 mA, 6.3V @ 1.65A, and 5V @ 2A. 
  • Tone & Headroom: It is known to deliver a slightly higher B+ voltage compared to other models. Itcan yield increased punch, tighter bass, and different power tube "sag" characteristics. 

Hammond 1750E (Output Transformer)

  • Design Purpose: Acts as the output transformer that connects the amplifier's power tubes to the speaker.
  • Specifications: This 15-watt unit features an 8.5 kΩ primary impedance and is configured for an 8 Ω output.
  • Vintage Authenticity: Built with paper winding construction to match vintage factory units, yielding a frequency response of 70 Hz - 10 KHz.
