T.C. Electronic TCXII B/K Programmable Phaser Model Phaser Effect (1980s), made in Denmark.
TC Electronic was founded by brothers and musicians Kim and John Rishoj in Denmark in the early 1970's. The TCXII B/K Phaser is an early creation: a versatile, programmable phaser oriented towards bass and keyboard players borne from the original TCXII favored by guitarists. The controls themselves are fairly simple for a phaser: a knob for speed and one for width, a toggle switch between 4/8/12 filter stages, and a function knob to toggle between peak/linear/notch modes for a variety of waveforms. There is an input on top for an expression pedal as well.
The most unique aspect of this pedal is the "programmable" nature; it originally came with small jack-sized "dummy plugs" that carried programmable circuits; these are seldom still found with the pedals today, but this was a very futuristic concept for its time!
Height is 5 in. (12.7 cm.), 3 3/4 in. (9.5 cm.) width, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth at deepest point.
This pedal is in overall great condition with no more than some chips and checks in the outer paint: all cosmetic. Some velcro has been added to the back foam. The electronics are entirely original, unaltered, and functioning as they should. Excellent - Condition.
