Baby’s on the move and I’m letting go of my coveted 1958/59 Premier Bantam Deluxe E-704 Model Arch Top Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made in Jersey City, NJ, serial # 1535.
She features sunburst lacquer finish, laminated maple body, mahobany neck with an adorable case that will need a bit of repair.
She’s lightweight, glittery, easy to play and in great condition for the style with original pick guard, pickup switch, knobs, and art deco details.
I have been playing her for years in live performance settings and she sounds awesome. Her two pickups work great and she just needs to be setup for the new owner to their desires.
Please look at photos carefully to see the condition of her finish. While the body is in great shape, the edge is a bit cracked.
Comes with a perfectly sized red velvet lined case. The binding on the edges has come off and needs to be repaired by a professional.
Overall length is 38 1/4 in. (97.2 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 11/16 in. (6.8 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).
