The Paiste 2002 series is one of the most iconic cymbal lines in modern drumming — the definitive classic rock sound, made in Switzerland from Paiste's legendary 2002 bronze alloy (92% copper / 8% tin). This 14" crash delivers bright, warm, full, and shimmering tones with wide range, clean mix, and a very responsive feel. Very versatile all-purpose crash.

The Paiste 2002 line has been in continuous production since 1980 — nearly 5 decades of proven, industry-standard classic rock cymbal sound.

Provenance: 2005 production per underside serial stamp — Serial Number 20053392. The "MADE IN SWITZERLAND" text on the side logo was introduced by Paiste in 2005, which aligns with this cymbal's production year.

Condition — Excellent:

• All logos vibrant and unfaded: PAISTE 2002 box logo, CRASH 14" model designation, side PAISTE logo — all crisp and clean
• Center hole clean — no keyholing, no oval wear, properly mounted throughout its life
• No cracks, no edge chips, no bell dents, no stick divots
• Natural traditional finish beautifully preserved with crisp lathing grooves
• Underside serial stamp still legible (see photos)

Home use only — never gigged, never used in a studio, never played out. Stored in a climate-controlled, non-smoking home. Cleaned with dry microfiber only (traditional finish requires no cleaner or polish).

Sold as described. Ships packed safely using the cymbal sandwich method: two cardboard circles, two layers of bubble wrap, sealed box marked "FRAGILE — CYMBAL" on all six sides. UPS with tracking and receipt.
