This is Rotel’s flagship power amplifier built in Japan in 1992-1997.
The RB-990BX is a class A/B Amplifier delivering 200 watts/channel into 8 ohms and 330 watts/channel into 4 ohms. It’s a high current powerhouse which can drive just about any speaker.It has a high quality large toroidal transformer along with 12 powerful output transistors in each channel. This amp is known for it’s tight, authoritative bass, a clean and open midrange, and highs that stay smooth. The imaging, soundstage and depth of the sound is truly high end audio. The music simply sounds real.
This RB-990BX is in excellent / like new condition from a smoke free environment.
