From the seller: "Beautiful 1958-1960 Collins 26U-1 compressor. I have the tube and the solid state rectifier for this one. In beautiful physical condition and perfect functional condition. I have owned this compressor for over 25 years. We did the mod that adds a switch on the inside so there is a “fast/slow” switch for the time constants. “Slow” is the original attack and release range, and “fast” doubles these. Circuit is completely original when in “slow” mode. It’s only a mod to the timing circuit, the rest of it is the 6386 based vari mu compressor we all know and love.” SAFE local Brooklyn pickup or shipping.
