Offered here is an original EMT 139A Mono Tube Phono Equalizer Amplifier, Serial Number 5304, one of the legendary broadcast modules manufactured in Germany for the world-famous EMT professional transcription systems.
The EMT 139A was developed for use with the classic EMT 927 and EMT 930 broadcast turntables and represents one of the finest examples of 1950s German studio engineering. These units were designed to provide extremely accurate RIAA equalization and low-noise amplification for professional moving-magnet cartridges used in radio stations and mastering facilities.
This particular unit was carefully removed from a working system and is in excellent operating condition. It has not been modified and retains its authentic vintage character, making it equally desirable for collectors, restoration projects, and high-end vintage audio enthusiasts.
