🙋🏻‍♂️ Welcome to SynthFreak!

Hey and thank you for visiting my shop and for your interest in this synthesizer! Every instrument in my shop comes from my private collection and is treated with the highest level of care. My mission is simple: you receive a vintage instrument that performs flawlessly, not a "fixer-upper."

Before any item is listed, it undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage inspection by our technician. I know my prices reflect a premium compared to "as-is" listings, but this is a deliberate choice. When you buy from me, you are investing in a fully verified, professionally serviced, and risk-free collector’s item that is ready for the studio the moment you plug it in. You avoid the hidden repair bills and frustration that often accompany cheaper, unverified gear.

💎 Why You Invest in Quality

My pricing directly reflects the extensive time, technical expertise, and premium materials required to deliver an investment-grade instrument. Here is exactly what is included in your purchase:

• 🛡️ Double Technical Verification: Every instrument undergoes a comprehensive checkup before being listed. To guarantee perfection, the entire unit is tested again right before it is packed. Any component replacement, calibration, or display upgrade is handled by specialists so you receive a turn-key, flawless instrument.
• 📦 Premium Custom Packaging: Vintage electronics are fragile and irreplaceable. To ensure 100% safety during international transit, we do not use standard shipping methods. We spend hours custom-building heavy-duty, multi-layered packaging or bespoke wooden crates. This professional-grade preparation guarantees that your investment arrives in the exact condition described.
• 🚀 Worldwide Fastest FREE Shipping: I believe in delivering excellence to your doorstep without extra costs. Every purchase includes expedited, fully insured worldwide shipping at no additional charge, ensuring your instrument arrives as quickly and safely as possible.
• ⚡ Power & Global Connectivity: My instruments are configured for EU 230V. If requested, I can perform a free internal voltage conversion where technically possible. If not, I recommend a high-quality external step-up transformer (approx. $50). This is the preferred, risk-free solution for 90% of my international customers, allowing you to power multiple EU-spec devices simultaneously without compromise.
• 📑 Customs & Import Optimization: International shipping often brings unexpected financial burdens. Our dedicated logistics team reviews each shipment individually to prepare customs declarations strategically. This compliant, professional approach helps minimize or entirely avoid unnecessary import fees and taxes for you.
• ✅ Transparency & Peace of Mind: I document the entire process and prioritize full professional transparency. You avoid the hidden risks, dirty interiors, and immediate repair costs that often come with cheaper 'as-is' listings from private sellers.

🎹 Information about the Item for Sale

I am offering the ultimate crowning achievement of modern analog synthesis history: the legendary Alesis Andromeda A6. Released at the turn of the millennium, the Andromeda is widely regarded by collectors, synthesists, and sound designers as one of the most powerful, complex, and magnificent polyphonic true-analog synthesizers ever engineered. It is a absolute bucket-list instrument that refuses to compromise on any level.

Unlike modern hybrid or digital modeling synths, the Andromeda features a 100% true analog signal path driven by custom-designed IC chips. It boasts an astonishing 16 independent voices of polyphony, with each single voice packed with an overwhelming amount of discrete analog power:

• Dual VCO Powerhouse: Two robust analog oscillators per voice with variable waveforms, sub-oscillators, hard and soft sync, and frequency modulation (FM) capabilities for creating earth-shaking basses and towering polyphonic stacks.
• Dual Analog Filters: Each voice routes through two distinct, legendary filter topologies simultaneously—a 2-pole multimode filter (Oberheim style) and a 4-pole low-pass resonant filter (Moog style). They can be run in series or parallel for unparalleled acoustic and electronic sound sculpting.
• Unrivaled Modulation Matrix: With 3 LFOs, 3 highly advanced 7-stage envelopes per voice, and a comprehensive modulation matrix, the Andromeda functions essentially like a massive, programmable modular synthesizer with patch memory.

The entire interface is a masterpiece of tactile sound design, presenting a vast layout of 72 physical knobs and 144 buttons for instant, hardware-level control over every microscopic parameter, beautifully accented by an expressive performance ribbon controller.

Technically, this Alesis Andromeda A6 is in excellent operational condition. The internal tuning routines, ASICs, voice allocation matrices, and back-panel connections have been completely checked, calibrated, and verified by our technician. Every single potentiometer, button, the large graphic display, and the keyboard assembly respond beautifully. Optically, it is in gorgeous vintage condition, exhibiting only light, normal signs of handling from careful studio use over the years, maintaining an incredibly imposing and pristine flagship presence.

Please note: This listing includes the Alesis Andromeda A6 and the power cable.
