You might want to sit down for this one, because the legend of this axe is about to hit you like a sixer of Coors Banquet on an empty stomach when the ribeye at Poopsy’s Pub is on the grill extra long for that delicious well done chew.

I bought this guitar from Maurice Bhatt a few years ago and was pleased as a pickle to find out it was still in drop D. I had to plug it in right away and do as he did before me in his band “Bhatt, Country: An Outlaw Tribute to Avenged Sevenfold” and rip through a chicken pickin’ version of “Hail to the King” that was finger lickin’ good.

Years later, I did loan it back to Maurice for a one off performance you would have been lucky to catch. He knew he needed the sickest tone possible, and the only way to get it was Eastman’s top-of-the-line take on a 335. He teamed up with Terry Turner of “Terry Turn-to Forev-er: A One Man Jazz Fusion Project” to do a post-Roger Waters Pink Floyd tribute set. “Moe and Terry Lapse of Reason” absolutely destroyed the Honey Pucker Bar and Grill that night, which explains the scuffs and scrapes this guitar might have. (You should see the other guy!)
