For your consideration today is a very cool and pretty darn clean 1970-1972 Gibson Les Paul Triumph Bass. Often called the Les Paul Recording Bass due to it's similarity to the Les Paul Recording guitar. The serial number falls in the 1970-1972 range. Unfortunately, Gibson is not always specific about dating during this period. No cracks or breaks and aside from a few small scratches and some light play wear, it is in very good vintage condition. Even comes with the original hardshell case (which has a very musty smell from being in storage). Don't be fooled by the glare spots, this bass is pretty nice. Plays and sounds great. The elaborate controls offer a plethora of useful tones. This one weighs in at 10 lbs 111.7 ounces on my digital scale. A very cool bass with tons of mojo AND playability. Comes with the original hardshell case so she will arrive safe and sound. Don't waste your money on the stock market. Instead of a piece of paper, get yourself a cool bass.
