Paul’s Guitar was conceived as a pure expression of Paul Reed Smith’s own preferences as a guitar player. Every major appointment was developed to meet the demands of a versatile, musical instrument that excels in both studio and stage settings.
At its heart are PRS’s TCI (Tuned Capacitance and Inductance) treble and bass pickups, offering rich, full bodied humbucking tones with the ability to shift into clear, articulate single coil voices via two mini toggle EQ switches. A traditional stoptail bridge with brass inserts and Phase III non locking tuners with wing buttons ensure tuneful stability and resonance across a broad tonal spectrum.
The addition of a beautifully figured 1-piece quilt maple 10-top and East Indian Rosewood neck and fretboard elevates this Wood Library instrument's presence without altering the classic feel and tone of the original Paul’s Guitar.
Whether you’re crafting rich rhythm tones, singing lead voices, or exploring expressive dynamic textures, the Wood Library Paul's Guitar delivers the nuanced voice players expect from this storied instrument.
All instruments from Music Makers are professionally evaluated and set-up in our historic Galesburg, IL. storefront prior to shipping.
