This is a highly desirable pre-war 1941 C.G. Conn 10M Tenor Saxophone, featuring genuine Rolled Tone Holes (RTH)—a hallmark of American saxophone manufacturing at its absolute peak. This instrument features the coveted "Naked Lady" / "Lady Face" engraving on the bell.
The saxophone features an older relacquer finish that has taken on a beautiful vintage character over time. Mechanically, the horn is an exceptional player. It offers the expansive, husky projection and effortless intonation that made the 10M the definitive choice for jazz legends like Dexter Gordon. The keywork is tight and responsive throughout the entire range. Includes padded travel case (pictured).
Bonus: The pictured saxophone stand will be included for listed price.
