Versatile Fuzz and Octave Pedal for Vintage and Modern Tones
The Electro-Harmonix Octavix Fuzz/Octave Up Pedal combines two powerful effects in one pedal, delivering classic fuzz tones along with octave-up effects. Whether you're playing through single-coil or humbucking pickups, the Octavix allows you to explore a wide range of fuzz sounds, from smooth vintage tones to tighter, more modern overdrive effects. This pedal is a go-to tool for guitarists seeking to add depth, character, and a touch of vintage magic to their sound, with the added benefit of its switchable 9V/24V operation to offer two distinct voicings.

Two Distinct Operating Modes for Different Sounds
One of the key features of the Electro-Harmonix Octavix is its ability to operate at either 9V or 24V, offering two unique tonal flavors. At 9V, the Octavix delivers classic vintage fuzz tones, perfect for those who want to capture the warmth and sag of retro sounds. In contrast, when switched to 24V operation, the pedal tightens up the sound and provides a punchier, more modern octave effect that cuts through the mix with clarity and definition. This dual-voltage capability gives you the versatility to easily switch between vintage and modern sounds, making the Octavix ideal for various musical styles and settings.

Wide-Ranging Fuzz Effects for Every Playing Style
The Octavix excels at producing a broad spectrum of fuzz effects, from the smooth, sagging fuzz that is reminiscent of vintage rock icons to the more focused and punchy modern fuzz tones that are perfect for contemporary genres. With its dedicated controls for volume, boost, and octave, you can fine-tune the pedal to your exact preferences, adjusting the intensity of the fuzz and the octave to achieve your desired sound. Whether you’re looking to create a smooth, saturated fuzz or a bright, aggressive tone, the Octavix provides the flexibility to meet your needs.

Perfect for Distorting Clean Channels or Pushing Overdriven Amps
The Electro-Harmonix Octavix is incredibly versatile, allowing you to use it in multiple ways within your rig. It can be used to distort a clean channel, giving you that classic, saturated fuzz sound, or it can be paired with an already overdriven amp to push it into a more aggressive, fiery tone. Whether you're looking to add subtle warmth to your clean sound or create a full-on, all-out fuzz assault with an already cranked amp, the Octavix handles it all, making it an essential tool for players who want maximum flexibility in their sound.

True Bypass for Maximum Signal Clarity
The Octavix is equipped with true bypass switching, which ensures that when the pedal is off, your signal remains completely uncolored and unaffected. This feature is crucial for maintaining the integrity of your tone, particularly when using multiple pedals in your chain. By bypassing the pedal entirely, you ensure that your guitar’s natural sound remains clean and transparent, while still allowing you to engage the Octavix’s powerful fuzz and octave effects whenever needed.
