Made in the late 70s and early 80s, this classic ADC Sound Shaper Two (Model SS-2 Mark I) stereo frequency equalizer is highly prized by audiophiles for its true inductor-based circuitry. Unlike later versions that shifted to cheaper integrated circuits, the original Mark I design utilizes distinct internal inductors to shape your sound, giving it an incredibly smooth, warm, and highly sought-after musical character. This unit features independent 12-band slider controls for both the left and right channels to provide masterful control over your audio spectrum. Complete with its original rugged casing, serial number plaque (SN: 112174), and dedicated tape loop monitoring controls, it is an excellent piece of vintage history ready to integrate into your hi-fi audio setup. Cosmetically, this unit is in great used condition aside from some sticker ghosting and some minor scratching on the front panel.
