This DBX 166XL rack mountable compressor unit is in excellent functional condition and very good cosmetically (some rack rash around the rack ears and case bottom surface).It features "OverEasy" compression and PeakStopPlus limiting, and is known for its transparent compression, superior noise gating, and more reliable integration with modern balanced line levels. Each channel features a program-adaptive expander/gate, a fully controllable compressor, and a peak limiter. Dynamic attack and release times can be set manually or switched to "auto," which adjusts to the incoming source material. It bypasses heavy bass frequencies so they don't falsely trigger the compressor and allows the two channels to process a stereo mix without drifting in the stereo image. Overall, a pretty decent value.
