1983 Marshall JCM800 4104 Chassis (Bare Frame) - Original Drake Iron, Pro High-Gain Mod
Description: Selling a bare frame 1983 Marshall JCM800 50W chassis (Model 4104/2204 circuit). Features original factory-stamped Drake transformers and the original hand-signed/dated 1983 inspection tag inside the chassis. Period-correct plastic rocker switches.
Modifications: Professionally modified with an added effects send/return loop and an extra 12AX7 preamp tube with a dedicated "Harmonic Gain" knob for heavy 80s hot-rodded hair metal tones.
Condition: Sat in storage for 10+ years. Cleaned the tube sockets and it tested great for 20 minutes, but it historically had a volume drop once it sat hot for long periods. Selling "As-Is" as a minor tech project or custom head enclosure drop-in.
