The Taylor 814ce has earned its place as one of the most celebrated acoustic guitars in the world by delivering an extraordinary balance of tone, playability, and craftsmanship. For many players, it’s the guitar that defines the Taylor experience, offering a level of refinement that feels equally at home on stage, in the studio, or during a quiet evening of songwriting. Its Grand Auditorium body shape has become the benchmark for versatility, making the 814ce a trusted companion for virtually any playing style.

The combination of East Indian rosewood and Sitka spruce creates a voice that’s rich, articulate, and remarkably balanced. Warm, piano-like lows blend seamlessly with sparkling highs and a clear, open midrange, allowing fingerstyle passages, intricate lead work, and full-bodied strumming to shine with equal confidence. Taylor’s V-Class bracing enhances sustain, volume, and note-to-note consistency, giving every chord greater depth and every melody a beautifully expressive quality. Whether you’re accompanying vocals or performing instrumental pieces, the 814ce delivers a polished, inspiring sound that never feels out of place.

Exceptional comfort completes the experience, with Taylor’s renowned neck design providing effortless playability across the entire fretboard, while the Venetian cutaway offers easy access to higher registers. When it’s time to plug in, the ES2 electronics faithfully reproduce the guitar’s natural voice with outstanding clarity and dynamics. Elegant, versatile, and built to inspire for a lifetime, the Taylor 814ce is everything an acoustic guitar should be. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
