The Boss VO-1 is a compact vocoder pedal that allows guitarists and bassists to easily shape their instrument's tone with human vocal characteristics, traditional talk-box effects, and onboard synth engines—all without the mess and hassle of traditional plastic mouth tubes.

• No Tuner Required: You do not need to sing perfectly in pitch; the pedal takes the formant characteristics of your voice and applies them to the notes you play on your instrument. 
• Effects Loop: Features an onboard effects loop, letting you patch in external pedals (like delay or distortion) specifically to the vocal/synth effect without muddying your clean guitar signal. 
• Connections: It has standard 1/4" instrument I/O, as well as an XLR/TRS combo input designed to work with dynamic microphones. 

This pedal has been hardly used and is in EXCELLENT condition. Comes with the box and paperwork. It is fully functional and no issues.
