A Dreadnought-style guitar from the 700 Series!
Made in the USA, at the El Cajon factory
This instrument dates from the time when the gNT-Neckh?a revolutionary neck joint design at the time?was just beginning to become standard.
The all-solid dreadnought-shaped body features a cutaway, with a spruce top and Indian rosewood sides and back.
The top features scalloped X-bracing and is fitted with an ebony bridge.
The wood binding and rosette give it an antique look!
The mahogany neck, with a nut width of approximately 44.5 mm and a 25.5" long scale, features an ebony fingerboard with wood binding.
The headstock is equipped with gold Grover Rotomatic tuners.
A Fishman PREFIX preamp is mounted, allowing you to blend the sound from the under-saddle piezo pickup with the sound from the preampfs built-in microphone.
The body has a gloss finish, and the neck has a satin finish.
Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop!
The crack in the body top beneath the bridge has been glued, reinforced, and smoothed.
In addition, the bridge has been reattached (glued), the nut has been replaced, and the frets have been dressed.
The truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees in both directions and is functioning properly; the frets retain sufficient height for playable conditions.
There are several areas of paint cracking visible on the body top (upper left and right, and lower sections).
There is paint peeling (lifting) on the body side near the neck heel and around the preamp.
The back of the neck has developed a sheen from playing. There are scratches in various places on the fingerboard.
Overall, there are scattered fine dents (including dents with chipped paint), scuffs, and scratches.
Although the metal parts show some tarnish, signs of use, and aging, playability is excellent!
It delivers a wide sound with rich sustain and clear harmonics!
This is a sound you might not easily find in current models! A highly recommended guitar!!
