For sale is the complete original electronics assembly removed from my Gretsch G5420T Electromatic hollow body. All elements work and sound great; I just decided to change tone with TV Jones pickups. This is terrific if you are looking to restore a Gretsch or other F-body semi-hollow electric guitar.
Includes:
- Matching pair of genuine Gretsch Black Top Filter'Tron pickups
- Original wiring harness, with all factory pots, three-way pickup selector switch, output jack
- You can literally put this in an F-body guitar and be done. You'll need only to add back the ground wire to the tremolo (if so equipped).
- I've labelled bridge and neck pickups and pots
Everything was fully functional when I carefully removed it; it is carefully packaged for shipping.
This is an excellent replacement for a damaged or modified G5420T, or for anyone wanting to restore an Electromatic back to original factory specifications. Having the entire harness already assembled also makes installation much easier in a hollow-body guitar.
