Custom Panthera style Black Limba top - Mahogany body-Custom wound Alnico 4 P90's

One of three new bodies a friend and I have been working on. Panthera style. Gorgeous Black Limba top on a Mahogany body. Body is finished in hand rubbed Odies Oil for a beautiful satin look and feel . Pickups are Custom wound Alnico 4 P90's. Roasted Maple Neck 9.5" radius modern C carve. Locking tuners. 25.5" scale. Comes in a padded gig bag with Fender strap lock buttons.

Plays and sounds sweet. I finish of my guitars using Odies Oil , Rubio Monocoat or Osmo Polyx Hard Wax oils. Depends on the wood and look i'm going for. All offer excellent single coat protection Although I normally put on two. Many colors are available. Unlike Poly or other finishes Hard wax oils let the wood breath and vibrate. These are very thin finishes which according to Industry leaders such as Tom Murphy, Paul Reed Smith, Joe Glaser is the key to an open and clear sound. These finishes are made for Furniture unlike Gun stock finishes that require 10 or more coats and offer not color or tinting. They are also easily repaired if you get a scratch or ding. No resanding or recoating.

To my new and repeat buyers, The Costs of the exotic woods I use, necks and hardware and even the finishes have all gone up as well as shipping over the last year with Tariffs and fee’s etc. Just to keep even I will be raising my prices very shortly to compensate. I am a very small builder and cant purchase in large quantities nor do I want to as things are constantly changing.
