Up for sale is the original Seymour Duncan SFX-01 Pickup Booster. This is the classic, dark red/burgundy "tank" version that put Seymour Duncan on the map for pedal design. This pedal was the first effect specifically engineered by the Seymour Duncan team to work in tandem with your guitar's pickups to optimize gain and resonance.

The "Secret Weapon" Switch: The original resonance switch is famous for its ability to thicken up thin-sounding single-coil pickups, giving them the girth and "muscle" of a vintage humbucker without losing your core tone.

Massive Clean Gain: Dial in anywhere from a subtle 6dB boost to a whopping 25dB of pure, flat-EQ gain to push your tube amp into that "sweet spot" of natural breakup.

Built Like a Brick: The original SFX-01 has a solid, heavy-duty build quality that feels much more substantial than the newer mini pedals. It’s ready for the road or the studio.

Studio Proven: Maintained here at Hang 6 Studios in a climate-controlled environment. It's on great shape and performs flawlessly.

The pedal is in Very Good condition. It shows light signs of use appropriate for its age, but it has been treated with care and is electrically perfect. This is a rare opportunity to grab the original, sought-after dark red version that has become a staple for pro players.
