This is a pedal I built using the Thumbsuckers Compressor board from Pedal PCB. This is the Engineer’s thumb circuit, which I don’t know if it’s ever really been offered in a commercial pedal.

Kind of sum it up Merlin Blencowe (he also has some great books on tube amp design) created this circuit mainly to improve upon the classic OTA compressors. Specifically the MXR Dynacomp. Reducing noise being the biggest goal. And he succeeded, this circuit is quiet!

It is wired for true bypass. Built by hand using all thru hole components. Is in a white textured powder coated enclosure.
