I purchased this horn a year or so ago from Reed and Squeak in the UK. The instrument has been kept in a conditioned environment and only played a couple of times during my ownership. I am ready to sell it, so here I am. I'm happy to include the ligature and Yamaha 4C mouthpiece included in the images.

Below is the description from the Reed and Squeak site at :

Selmer Mark VI 5-digit Tenor Saxophone in original condition.

This is a complete one-off instrument built to special order in 1958 with a number of additional keys. Engraved bell, top F sharp key, and various additional trill keys. Played professionally for many years by the original owner and passed down through the family. This is a truly unique saxophone.

Having spent the last 25 years stored under a bed, this fabulous piece of history has been brought back into top playing condition. All pads, corks, and felts have been replaced by one of the UK’s most experienced vintage saxophone repairers Charlie Connolly. Original lacquer at 95%. Some pitting of the keys and pad guards can be seen but in general, this is a fabulous example of one of the best saxophones ever built. Sold in a BAM-shaped case in good condition. No mouthpiece.

Serial Number 770XX

*Condition 5
