Fuzz Face Deluxe BC109 circuit with bias control & bass cut switch: Old school RotoSound/Tone Bender enclosure: Here is another mash-up of both worlds with a matched pair BC109/NTE123A based Fuzz Face circuit housed in a powder coated Purple Galaxy Flake old school fuzz enclosure w/ custom rubber tread. The BC 109 transistors are the spec used in the Dunlop Hendrix Face and the Silicon based Minis, so you can get the sound of that Fuzz Face and a whole lot more out of this unit. On top of the pedal is an added bias control that goes from the traditional fuzz you'd want from a Fuzz Face to a low voltage dying battery/velcro rip fuzz when dialed down, and cleaner more overdrive tones whenthe voltage is dialed up. Bass cut switch takes off some woofiness and gets tones like the Eric Johnson Fuzz Face & Tone Bender'esque sounds.

A trim pot is on the board so you can further tweak the Q2 bias and set the range of the on top bias control. Right now straight up on the top control is the standard 4.5v DC, but edge it back to 3.0V with the on-top bias knob and you are in the velcro rippy Eric Johnson territory!

Like all good fuzz pedals, this pedal can (and IMO should be) ran on a 9V battery as God meant it to be, but a 9v center negative DC jack is installed as well so you can run it off of the pedal power of your choice.  

Pedal has new components with a 500k audio pot for Volume, 1k linear for Fuzz. Transistors are a gain selected pair of higher gain BC 109/NTE123A silicon transistors. PCB is an Arbiter reproduction. NOS Carbon Comp resistors and new filter capacitors.
