For sale is a vintage Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Big Muff Pi Distorter/Compressor, made in New York City, U.S.A.

!!!

This is the Series/Parallel version of the Deluxe Big Muff Pi. Two versions were produced: one featuring a Blend switch and another featuring a Series/Parallel switch, as fitted to this unit.

The Series/Parallel design allows the compressor to be placed before the fuzz in series, producing exceptionally long sustain and distinctive, intense fuzz tones. It also offers parallel operation for additional tonal flexibility.

!!!

The pedal is fully functional and in good original vintage condition. It shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age, including scratches and signs of use, but has not been modified.

This rare Deluxe version combines the classic Big Muff fuzz with an integrated compressor, offering both Series and Parallel operation for a wide range of distinctive vintage tones.
