PRS SE Custom 22 2008 - Tobacco burst with Hiscox 'PRS' hard case

I'll start with a confession, I've listed this as Tobacco Burst , that may not be correct ; however, the photographs are a good representation of the colour.

Here we have my 2008 PRS SE 22 Custom with Hiscox 'PRS specific hard case' , no longer made these guitars represent a very playable option for the new guitarist or even those wanting to upgrade from a beginner guitar.

This guitar is listed as very good condition , in line with Reverb definitions, there is a small dink on the bottom end of the guitar on the binding by the strap button , see photographs and a scuff on the back of the headstock again see the photographs.

The Hiscox case has a minor cut at the bottom from when it was dropped, without the guitar in it , this does not impact the usability of the case. The interior 'pocket material is coming away but this ought to be an easy fix. the case comes with a lock and the 2 original keys. The new retail price from Hiscox is around the £180 mark.

The guitar plays very well and works as it should, with the exception of the adjusted tremolo see below.

The guitar was professionally set up in March 2024 when the Tremelo was decked, I never used the Tremelo so had it locked down so I could remove all strings at the same time to ease cleaning when changing the strings. The tremolo can be returned to use , the arm and a spare spring are included.

The guitar is strung with Elixir Nanoweb 10 | 52 Light / Heavy strings.

So why am I selling this guitar, it's the guitarists age old dilemma , I need to sell a couple of guitars to make way for a new arrival, and this guitar just hasn't been used for around 9 months.
