Offered for sale is a Gibson L-00 Rosewood 12-Fret in the beautiful Rosewood Burst finish. This guitar has been exceptionally well cared for and is in excellent condition, showing only a few light surface scratches from normal handling. There are no cracks, repairs, structural issues, or significant dings.

The factory LR Baggs VTC pickup and preamp were professionally removed and are included in the original Gibson hardshell case. They can be reinstalled if desired. Some acoustic players choose to remove onboard electronics because they believe it allows the top to vibrate more freely, slightly reducing weight while maximizing the guitar's unplugged resonance. While the tonal difference is subtle and subjective, this has become a fairly common modification among players who primarily perform acoustically.

This L-00 delivers an exceptional blend of warmth, clarity, and responsiveness. The 12-fret neck moves the bridge closer to the center of the lower bout, producing greater resonance, a fuller bass response, and impressive sustain. It excels for fingerstyle while offering plenty of punch for flatpicking and light strumming.

Unlike the traditional mahogany L-00, the solid rosewood back and sides produce deeper bass, richer overtones, and sparkling highs, giving this guitar a bigger, more complex voice while retaining the balanced character that makes the L-00 so popular.
