This guitar started as a Sterling Axis AX40. Basswood body, quilted maple top, 16" radius maple neck. Then was highly customized. The body was sanded down and professionally refinished in the EVH Runaround music video theme, the neck was professionally aged and shaped to mimic the kramer 5150 neck. Narrow frets and the neck gets slightly wider closest to the last fret. Very comfortable. The bridge pickup was replaced with a DiMarzio Tone Zone, the bridge was replaced with a Gotoh GE1996T tremolo, push in tremolo bar and brass block. Gotoh locking nut. Huge brass spring claw installed. Pearloid tuners. Seymour Duncan 500k pot, aged tone knob for volume and a switchcraft 3 way all metal toggle switch and upgraded input jack. This guitar absolutely screams and is fantastic to play. The headstock was also refinished to match the body and a mimic of Eddie signature. Also added the EVH eyelet hooks for the strap. Will come with a $165 extremely well made gig bag. Heavily padded.
