1960s Kamaka Gold Label Soprano Ukelele, Koa wood. KK Japan ukes were built between '62 and '70, the gold label was used until '69. This one has nice acoustics, but very slight separation of top, back, and the side around the lower bout. There is slight pulling, bowing of the top in front of the bridge. Despite that, the string action seems okay. The bridge does not appear to be separating from the top. There are no repairs evident. No cracks. The finish is good, but there is scuffs, small indentations, strum markings as seen in the pictures. Tuners are nice. This comes as a complete set with the original MIJ checker plaid pattern nylon zip gig bag, and 3 beginner uke booklets from the era. This would make a great gift for a beginner.
Please inspect the pictures, they are included in the description.
