For sale we have a 2015 Martin OM-21 in Natural finish with original hardshell case. A superb example of Martin’s understated and refined craftsmanship, this OM-21 combines premium tonewoods, vintage inspired appointments and exceptional playability in one of the company’s most beloved orchestra models. Built in Nazareth, PA, the OM-21 delivers the rich complexity of East Indian rosewood paired with the balance and articulation that has made the OM body style a favorite among fingerstyle players, singer-songwriters, and flatpickers alike. This particular example is in very good used condition showing moderate cosmetic wear with small dings, dents and superficial scuffs scattered throughout the top, back and sides of the body. The pickguard and surrounding areas show a fair bit of strum wear from normal flat-picking and use. The backside of the body shows a fair bit of buckle rash with lots of small shallow surface scratches and scuffs. The neck is in good shape but does show some honest wear with small dings and dents scattered along the backside and on the neck heel. The headstock shows a fair bit of dings around the edges as well as a scuff of white paint across the top edge (see photo). Structurally sound, the guitar is solid with no cracks, breaks or repairs. The frets are in good shape with a bit of light grooving beneath the first two plain strings across the first 6-7 frets. Lots of life left. Overall a fantastic sounding and playing instrument built with high quality standards and fine materials.
